Dresser to TV Stand
Now that we had the DIY bug we wanted to do so many things. So we decided to find an old dresser and make it into a TV stand that was much needed. Once we found the dresser we got our creative juices going.
We took out the drawers and took off the doors to get started. We ended up taking out one of the shelfs that held one of the drawers.

Here is what the drawers looked like. Aren't they so fancy!
Then we got busy sanding it down to get it prepped for painting. Usually trying to figure out what color to paint things takes me forever to decide but I knew exactly what color we were going to use.
Since this was a furniture piece we didn't use just your ordinary paint. We needed something that wouldn't chip easily. There are a couple of options we looked into. The first being the Behr Alkyd paint and Benjamin Moore Advance Waterborne Interior Alkyd paint. We ended up getting the Benjamin Moore Alkyd paint and it turned out perfect. We painted three coats on it, added new drawer pulls, added some chicken wire, and baskets and we came up with this.
Everything in your home looks so beautiful and professional. And most of it you made. That is so cool.
