DIY Magnolia Wreaths
Who loves Magnolia Wreaths? I DO! I kept trying to find one that I loved for a reasonable price and I couldn't find anything that I loved. So it was time for me to just run to Hobby Lobby and make my own.
Here are the things I got to make one:
- Magnolia Leafs like these: Hobby Lobby Magnolia Leafs
- Grape Vine Wreath whatever size you would like (I used an 8" wreath): Hobby Lobby Grape Vine Wreath
- Green Enamel Coiled Floral Annealed Wire like this: Hobby Lobby Green Floral Coil
That is it. The first thing that I did to make it was, I took all the leafs off of their stem. The ones I got, I was able to just pop off the leafs easily in clumps of three. If you have something different you may need to just cut them off. Once you have them in smaller clumps or single leafs, then it's just a matter of stuffing the stems into the wreath. Once you have one stuffed in, take the wire and wrap it around part of the wreath and stem, then twist the two wire ends together.
Keep repeating this process as you fill in the wreath with the leafs to your liking. Here is what I ended up with.
It's been so fun to have. We have been able to put it everywhere and change it up. Heres a few places we have used it. You could even put it up on your front door!
