Homemade Chili
Ever have those days where it's FREEZING outside and you don't know what to cook? Well, this is by far one of my favorites for a cold winters day. A nice chili. This is one that I got from my mom and where she got it from, well I have no idea to be honest. But it's always been a family favorite and it's one that is super easy to make. Also there is always left overs because it makes a huge batch which means Navajo Tacos the next night! BONUS!!!
Once meat is browned you will dump in; chili beans, tomato sauce, tomatoes, dry basil, chili powder, salt and pepper.
Once you have everything mixed in you will want to bring it to a boil. Once it is to a boil, cook until thicken.
Then it's time for the toppings. One of my favorites is the lime, it gives it a little zing! So stinking good! Oh, and don't forget that you will most likely have some left over to do Navajo Tacos for the next night.
